ATLANTA THRASHERS HIGH SCHOOL TRAINING CAMP 2007

The Thrashers are excited to host the 2nd Annual Atlanta Thrashers High School Training Camp in conjunction with the GSHL (Georgia Student Hockey League) and Blueland at the MIC. Proven by the large number of participants at last summer's inaugural camp, there is a high demand in our market to provide a program dedicated solely to our high school hockey players. We have teamed up again with the GSHL and the Blueland at the MIC to address the needs of these players and to create an opportunity that would allow them to further improve their game.

The Training Camp is a series of clinics during August that is designed to maximize player development and utilize progressive teaching methods. The skills learned from this camp will provide a great mental and physical advantage at the start of the upcoming season. This exclusive clinic series will be infused with high energy, high intensity drills and effective skill development tactics.

Atlanta Thrashers High School Training Camp 2007
Where: Blueland at the MIC (Marietta Ice Center)
Dates: 8/6, 8/9, 8/13, 8/16, 8/20, 8/23
Times: Mondays (7:00pm - 8:00pm) and Thursdays (7:00pm - 9:00pm)*
* 8:00pm - 9:00pm on Thursdays will be a controlled scrimmage) More detail available below
Cost: $150 per participants (approx. $25 per clinic).
Cost Includes:

• 1 practice jersey
• 1 ticket to a Thrashers Game (with purchase of additional ticket)
• 9 hours of ice time
• A packet of training material designed specifically for the high school hockey player by our Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Development Team.

The Atlanta Thrashers High School Training Camp will be lead by Darren Eliot, a former NHL goaltender, Television Analyst for the Atlanta Thrashers and the Director of Community Hockey Programs for the Thrashers Organization. Misha Donskov, Youth Coaching Mentor and Lead Instructor for the Thrashers Community Hockey Development Team will assist Darren in leading this camp!

Our highly skilled and enthusiastic Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Development Team will join Darren and Misha in putting the players through this specialized, high-energy format. The collective desire of the staff to give back to the hockey playing community is unparalleled and we look forward to working with the local High School Players again this summer!
